Police in Chelmsford are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by a gang of youths gathered outside his home.The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Monday October 26 in Noakes Avenue, Chelmsford. The victim, a 43-year-old man challenged a group of around 20 youths who were gathered to the rear of the houses. He was headbutted by one of the youths then hit with a scaffolding pole by another, leaving him with a broken nose and fractured cheekbone.Anyone who witnessed this incident...
