A man has appeared in court accused of attempting to murder another man in Chelmsford on Wednesday night (January 13).Neville Payne, 41, of Crown Road, Billericay, stood in the dock at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court this morning (January 15) in a red jumper and spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
