Britain's most famous bookstore is coming to Chelmsford as part of the new John Lewis development and shopping complex.
Foyles, famous for its London Charing Cross Road flagship store, has exchanged contracts with developers Aquila for a 4,300 square foot store which is set to open in September.
The 'Foyles Bond Street' store will be the first branch to open in the east of England and the third outside London after Bristol and Birmingham.
