We've all heard of trains being delayed by leaves on the line and the wrong type of rain – but how about a pheasant?
You may not believe it, but that's exactly the reason why seven minutes of delay were caused to journeys through Chelmsford this morning (Tuesday, January 26) according to Greater Anglia – after the bird hit a train's windscreen, causing it to be damaged.
