The A12 in Chelmsford is closed southbound between junction 17 for the A111 at Howe Green and junction 16 for the B1007 at Galleywood due to an accident.There is severe congestion back to junction 20a, for the B1137 at Hatfield Peverel South and queueing at the roundabout with the A130 near Howe Green, causing delays on the A130. There are also delays in Chelmsford on Springfield Road and Chelmer Road towards the city centre due to the accident.A spokeswoman for Essex police said:...
