If you gaze up at the sky tonight you may be able to spot the Perseid meteor shower expected to light up our skies from 11pm into tomorrow morning.It is the first time since 2007 that the shower has coincided with a new moon, so you are sure to witness a spectacle because the sky is at its darkest.Dr. Sonali Shukla, from the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Cambridge, said: "You don't need binoculars or a telescope to view the showers - but they are best observed in dark skies....
