A POLICE car answering a 999 call crashed into another vehicle before ploughing into railings this afternoon (February 25).Large tailbacks are building up around the junction of Waterhouse Lane and Writtle Road in Chelmsford after the incident which happened around 2.10pm.An Essex Police BMW vehicle struck a white Renault Twingo on the junction before hitting railings.The police car was answering a 999 call at nearby Three Mile Hill.More police cars are at the scene as they try to clean up the...
