Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted with a bike chain in the early hours of Saturday morning.The incident took place in Hogg Lane, Grays, near to the ambulance stationThe victim, a man aged in his 20s, was at the Treacle Mine pub at around midnight when a fight started.
