Essex's childhood obesity rates have risen for the first time in five years.
The report, released by Public Health England on the region's health, shows that the obesity rate in children aged 10-11 rose from 16.7 per cent in 2015 to 17.1 per cent for this year.
However, obesity levels among youngsters aged 4-5 dropped from 8.1 per cent to 8 per cent.
