Budgies dumped like rubbish in Essex alleyway put down

Five seriously ill budgies had to be put down after they were found huddled together 'dumped like rubbish' in an alleyway in Essex.The colourful birds were found on Sunday (April 17) by a man who stumbled on the poorly animals in Epping.They were found loose before the man gathered them up and popped them in a box to take them home. RSPCA animal collection officer Lucy Fackerell was called and collected the birds - four blue and white and one green and yellow - before rushing them to the vets.>...
