Drivers, passengers and pedestrians involved in a "traumatic" head-on crash in Writtle today have reportedly escaped with no serious injuries.A grey Volkswagen Touran, being driven by an elderly man, and a black Ford Cougar, believed to have child passengers, collided shortly after 4pm in Bridge Street.Fire engines, police cars and ambulances attended but apparently those involved have been sat resting nearby.The Green resident Bob Hibberd said eyewitnesses told how the Touran sped...
