Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted while picking his daughter up from a party at an Essex village hall.The victim, aged in his 30s, was picking his teenage daughter up from a party inside the hall in Weeley at around 10.15pm on Friday, April 22.His daughter was unwell and as he bent to pick her up he was struck on the right side of his face.
