Police are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was assaulted on the dance floor of a night club in Southend. The attack, which happened at East Coast Social in London Road, took place between 1.30am and 3am on Sunday, May 8, Essex Police confirmed.The Chronicle understands the victim suffered a cut to his face that required hospital treatment.Anyone with any information is asked to contact Pc Dave Ince at Southend police station on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
