Essex commuters can temporarily breathe a sigh of relief after two planned 24-hour tube strikes in London have been suspended by union bosses.
Four unions have taken part in the two previous 24-hour strikes.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union, the Transport Salaried Staffs' Association (TSSA), Unite and Aslef, were due to strike for a third time for 24 hours from both Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
This action would have disrupted four consecutive days of commuting.
