Patients in Essex Google the STI, chlamydia, more than anywhere else, according to a new report on patient's Internet searches around the country.
Google has increasingly become the self-diagnostic tool of patients reluctant to visit a doctor in person.
The survey by PushDoctor.co.uk, an online tool people can use to get medical advice from doctors, showed one in four people use the Internet to work out what is wrong with them.
