A boy is due to appear in court charged with sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl and raping a girl under 13.
The 15-year-old from Westcliff-on-Sea, who cannot be names for legal reasons, will attend Chelmsford Youth Court on Monday on seven charges in total.

Four Essex men jailed after 50m worth of cocaine seized in
Four Essex men have been jailed after £50 million worth of cocaine was found inside a taxi at Tilbury docks.
Greg Spiers, 48, of London Road, Billericay was part of a group of three other men at the centre of a 225kg drugs bust by Met Police on July 21, 2015.
Police stopped a van and a taxi at the Port of Tilbury in the morning as they tried to leave the area with 200kg of high purity cocaine being seized from one of the vehicles.

Police are investigating an Essex shopping centre bomb scare after a hoax call was made last night.
The Eastgate Shopping Centre, in Basildon, was evacuated at around 6.30pm following the bogus bomb threat.
Raeanna Shields, who works at Starbucks in the shopping centre, was alerted to the incident when the alarm was raised around 6.30pm.

Police search for missing essex pensioner 86 with dementia
Police are urgently trying to find a pensioner with dementia who went missing from his home at 4am today.
Gerald Wright, 86, has gone missing from his home in Grays. He is white, 5ft 6in tall, of medium build with grey hair.
He is believed to be wearing a brown woollen jumper with grey trousers.
Gerald disappeared from his home at around 4am and police say they are very concerned for his welfare.

A two-tonne pile of rubbish in a Chelmsford warehouse was engulfed in flames and tackled by firefighters.Two fire crews, from Chelmsford, battled the blaze which broke at around 7.30am today at a warehouse in Winsford Way. Firefighters were called to a fire at a college in Chelmsford.Two crews, from Chelmsford, were called at 11.14am on Friday to deal with a fire in the roof of Chelmsford College in Moulsham Street.The fire, which was caused by the electric motor of an air conditioning unit, was extinguished by 11.28am.The crews left after making the area safe.
